IMPORTANT NOTICE
Hicksville
offers free land to private sector companies who set up operations in the village Industrial Park. Any type business that provides at least 20 new full-time jobs is eligible for 5 acres of land. The program is administered through the Defiance County Economic Development office and is designed to bring jobs to a shovel ready industrial park. Jobs must pay an average of 150% of the Federal minimum wage and the industry must make a 5 year commitment secured through a promissory note. Every MONDAY beginning Feb. 6 we will host the Nintendo Wii League starting at 6 pm.
This month features Wii Sports. Stop in for free food and fun.
MONDAY, February 27: We will host a basics Google class at 6 pm.
TUESDAY, February 7: We are hosting tweens and teens a Un-Valentine Party at 4 pm.
Come in for zombie love songs, stupid sonnets, broken heart cookies, trivia and much more.
TUESDAY, February 14: "Make Your Own Valentine's Day Card" all day event. Materials provided.
TUESDAY, February 28: Movie Night returns. This month's movie is "Puss In Boots"
free snacks & drinks provided - Movie starts at 6 pm.
WEDNESDAYS: Read, Rhyme & Romp (ages 0-3) begins at 10:30 am,
and Storytime (ages 3 and up) follows at 11 am.
FRIDAYS: Adventure Quest League is introduced.
Join us for a role playing game - bring your lap top if you have one - the Library will also provide lap tops to use- free food and drinks - begins at 4 pm each Friday.
SATURDAYS: Lego Day - we provide the legos, you provide the imagination - all day
