Administrative Assistant

Working in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, Leesa Battershell prepares payroll, financial reports, pays invoices, updates accounting information, and maintains data as required by the Clerk-Treasurer. She also takes council minutes whenever the Clerk-Treasurer is unable to do so. During tax season she assists the Tax Administrator in preparing and maintaining income tax records, receiving, consolidating and depositing funds, and issuing receipts and statements. Leesa (Kemerer) Battershell is married to James Battershell Jr. They have 2 sons, Eric and Ryan. Leesa has been with the Village of Hicksville since April of 2006.
