From the Village of Hicksville Mayor
As Mayor of the Village of Hicksville, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our community. We hope you will take time to explore all the different features that make this community a great place to live, work, and play. Hicksville is a vibrant small town that is located between cities in several directions. Come enjoy the historic Huber Opera House, the Christmas Cruise Thru, the Defiance County Fair, our summer concert series, many festivals, and our great parks. Come shop in our business district and enjoy some great restaurants. We are blessed to have an excellent school system, hospital, business owners, churches, and industry that all work together to provide quality services for our community. We have recently designated our entire village as a Community Reinvestment Area, which encourages new construction and renovation of existing buildings. We have fiber optic internet and video available inside and outside the village. We are proud of our community and the spirit of volunteerism and teamwork that our citizens provide. On behalf of the citizens of our community, we welcome you!
Best regards,
Mayor Ron Jones
